Volga State Park is located between West Union and Fayette just off of Highway 150. The Volga river meanders through 5,420 acres of serene Iowa countryside. It is an excellent area for fish and wildlife. The recreation area has become a very popular center for trail activities such as hiking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and equestrian trails. Frog Hollow Lake provides fishing and boating opportunities. The Volga Area offers public hunting of white-tailed deer and wild turkey. This park is also a excellent area for camping.
